Ramsey offers the small feel with all the amenities. There is a mix of homes, from condos to small cape cods to homes with acre property. There is also the Ramsey Golf and Country Club with over 400 homes which surround an 18-hole golf course. Amenities include a pool, lake for boating and fishing and platform tennis. It provides views of the Ramapo Mountains while still offering the convenience for commuters. There are two train stations in town with designated parking for residents and Express trains to Manhattan. Short line bus service is also available. Ramsey is convinent located near NJ Rt. 17, Rt. 287 and County Rd. 507.
Ramsey’s charming main 
There are five public schools in town. Two elementary schools, the recently built middle school for grades 4 and 5, the upper middle school for grades 6 – 8 and the high school. Also in town are two private Catholic schools, St. Paul Interparochial School which serves grades K – 8 and Don Bosco Preparatory High School for grades 9-12.
