This quiet town offers two elementary schools for grades K-5 and one middle school from grades 6-8. The students attend high school at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale.
There are several recreation areas including Lions Park which offers a large playground and several recreation fields. Other parks are Hess Park and Liberty Pond Park. There is also a town library with many programs available for residents.
